So…it’s been a while…

It’s been a while.

I was gone for most of July, doing this (the best three weeks of my life. Read a very brief reflection here). Then in August, I was getting back in the swing of things. Somehow that swing didn’t manage to include Twice Infinity.

But now I’m back. I’ll try to post with some regularity again. But beware. My experiences this past summer (at places like this and reading books like this) have changed some of my viewpoints. I don’t agree anymore with everything I’ve written in the past. I’m the same Matt Shafer you know (some of you in person, others of you through this blog); but I won’t be saying all the same things. Many of them will be the same. But not all of them. Frankly, the ideological changes I’ve undergone recently aren’t that radical; they’re just the logical culmination of the sorts of things I was writing about before anyway (like “Social Redemption“). I feel strongly that this summer, God tied together and brought to fruition a lot of things I’d been thinking about.

So here we go again.
